I’ve refrained discussing CF for a very long time because it doesn’t serve to accomplish much, but I will say this: As many of you know, Jesse and Jim have the attitude that as long as rules haven’t specifically been broken, we’re not going to send someone packing. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a child molester or a serial rapist or an axe murderer.

When I was an admin here, I banned several people instantly because I knew that even if they hadn’t specifically broken any rules, their presence and participation would only serve to annoy and offend most people and would eventually lead to problems. I felt that...as Spock once said...“The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” Jim and Jesse have absolutely zero concept of doing something for the greater good and are not worried about whether or not someone has been victimized. There is a rulebook and by God they're going to follow it.

And if you should run afoul of either of them, a completely different set of rules are employed. Many of which are made up on the fly.

Of course, now CF is a corporate run site and Jim is a paid employee of Internet Brands (Jesse may also be paid...I’m not certain). Robert is little more than a shill who sidesteps real issues as well as the other two (someone asked if he was a cop...he is not. He’s a CSI investigator). So there may be a completely different set of rules in place, but sadly, it doesn’t seem as though much has changed.

I am surprised to hear this from you. I did not think you had any opinion of him. I am not sure why it is, but he could post an absolute duplicate thread of someone else's and his will annoy me and the other won't. Probably because of the baggage attached. I used to really dig in, but now I really am not interested as much in what he has to say. I just go and jerk his leash now and then because he needs to be aware that he may be favored by the mods, but not the members. The issue with the teenage girl put him in a different category in my mind and I think he should be removed...but it won't happen.

I take delight in the fact that when he shows his infected self over here, he leaves shortly after with his tail tucked.

The email exchange was posted over there. As soon as it was exposed, he denied everything and within minutes the ad vaporized and so did he for a while. Another member reported it to the Port Richey police and eventually Chester slithered back onto the forum after he felt sure he was not going to be arrested.

It seems at one time there was a catch-all rule over there that made it possible to get rid of someone just because they were a PITA. That one doesn't seem to be in effect any longer.

Yeah...I remember that. It was a private website so they could actually just boot you anytime they wanted whether there was a rule in place or not. I don't know whether IB's ownership has affected that or not.

When I was banned, the punk that was the Brand Manager for IB in Los Angeles wouldn't override Willis, so I guess his word is still law.

It's not what he did it is what he was willing to do. Several tried to just dismiss it and make like it was no big deal but to everyone of them I said "Imagine CHAS contacting YOUR 17 year old daughter about a hook-up. Is it still no big deal?"

Jim and Jesse refused to do anything about an individual on CF who was stalking both me and the person I was involved with at the time. I was a moderator and they also forbid me to do anything about it (favored child status sound familiar?). I had enough and sent Jim a polite Email which said that I would no longer be a moderator and would not be returning to the forum. I thanked him for the opportunity and that was that. He came back saying that since I said I wasn't returning, he was, per forum policy, closing my account (effectively banning me). There is no such policy by the way. It's something Jim does "on the fly" when his ego has taken a hit.

Jesse took the whole event so personally (perhaps because he wound up with a huge amount of egg on his face) that he actually forbid people to even post pics of me...making it a bannable offense. Good Christian that he is.

Now the irony of the whole thing? I told Jim and Jesse that the minute I was no longer on CF, this person that they were working so hard to protect would disappear. Guess what happened?
