12x21x2= 504 cubic inches = 0.292 cubic feet.

Say an average of 50lb/ cubic foot

About 14.6 pounds.

Doug made a cutting board for me a few years back as a thank you for BR-1. It had...if not mistaken...maple and purple heart which made it look just stunning. Weighs a ton too. I absolutely love it.

another view,

walnut, maple, purple heart (because you had a purple car). and a set of extra long handled spoons (because you had deep pots).

That's so beautiful I would be reluctant to use it. I would instead find a nice place to display it like the work of art it is.

Nah...It was just the first thing I thought of in looking at the pattern. Couldn't resist.

All of your boards I've seen are very cool looking.

Doug, do you have any pics of the one you donated to St. Jude's auction over 'tutha place a few years back?

That was the first one I remember seeing. It was pretty neat too.

Back in the day, I bought a Ms. Pac Man game cartridge for my Atari 2600.....because it was 30% cheaper than the regular Pac Man. This was probably the inspiration for the Lily Ledbetter equal pay act.

Thanks for digging that up.

That's pretty amazing too... but for my tastes I prefer more lighter woods in the pattern. Like the previous two- your wife's and the one you made for Gene.
