will let the finish soak in overnight, and then pack it up and get it sent tomorrow. gonna be big, gonna be heavy. won't fit in a flat rate box.

i'm guessing $30 postage.

hope you like it.
Beautiful. How much do you charge for something like that? *I ask without reading the entire thread*

Mrs. DAB enjoys doing needle work, including counted cross stitch. she's very good at it. she buys patterns from several people who have nice designs. she can spend up to 100 hours over the course of a month or two (while watching football in winter) working on a single piece. the materials run maybe $30-50 for the entire piece. then we get them framed, another $150-250. want to hazard a guess what people would pay for such a thing?

here's one she did last winter:

individual stitches.....thousands of them.....

she did another one a few years ago, gift to my mom, it had over 2500 little beads, in addition to the needle work. took an entire winter to do.
$20

If I was at a craft show, I'd ask $500 for the pair. That leaves a little room to haggle.

I was wondering about the board. Mom died in 2002. I have nobody left worthy of me spending that much.

For you, a 12x12 or so board: about $100.

Excellent! I will PM you when ready. Just please don't make it $100 worth of an ugly joke at my expense.

I'll hook you up.

And we are finally home. Good week in Wyoming. Back to the shop this week.
