Yesterday when I went to work at 7;30 it was in the low 70s, by lunch time it was 82 and by 5:30 when I left it was in the low 50s. Front moved through and it was raw this morning

I'm on the Gulf Coast.....we know about (from, for you Northeast coast barners) hurricanes. Let's just all hope that this turns out to be a dud. The media has been known to exagerate, after all.

Hope everybody makes it ok. In any event, preparing for extended power outages with food, fuel, water, generators, etc. is never a bad idea.....and let's not forget to take care of our elderly family and neighbors, and our best friends as well....our 4 legged best friends.

Speaking of, it might be apropot for a onedef prayer request. Never hurts to call in the big guns.

Gonna fill my racing gas containers tomorrow. Those will give me 4 or more days on the generator. Have plenty of food. Stopped by VABC tonight for needed supplies. Hope to have connectivity to send pic's.

BTW, I find it funny that any hurricane is named Sandy. Thought it wasn't PC as a hurricane has only one eye.
