there has been issues with looting abandoned homes.
I've heard stories about people posing as electric company workers have been robbing folks.
My Kid volunteered some time in Staten Island distributing food and water to folks that lost everything.

there is a counties wide curfew of 7pm-7am and cops and military are protecting areas and checking id's to make sure people are in areas they are allowed to be in...

My office is running on generator power, but since my power is back on, I am probably going to be working from home for a bit...

Talked with my friend Dave earlier today. He's still without power and the power company "expects" to have power restored by Sunday 11pm.

His neighbor has a generator so they have water across the street but his house is electric heat so it's a bit chilly.
