And too many dummies don't realize that fact. It is already a problem that is only going to get worse. I am a straight up atheist. I know the word seems to have bad connotations with some, but I do respect others beliefs. My family is religious, and yes I will bow my head in prayer at the dinner table. Something I don't understand about true believers is that if you believe we have the literal messages from the creator of existence, there should absolutely be nothing more important to you than to study it, in the original texts, yourself. How can you believe in this and be like "eh that's nice, now off to my 9-5 job". It's like if an alien race stopped by and handed you a book containing all the answers and technology and cures, and your response is "I will set some free time aside on Sundays and get through what I can, I simply don't have the time during the week because chik fil a needs me to work my shifts"

I disagree. The issue is that if aliens handed us a book with all the technology answers, we would devour it because of it's immediate impact, and it's a witnessed current event.

I am 100% certain if an actual angel, or Jesus appeared and it was very obviously an angel or Jesus, and they told us what in the Bible was accurate and should be followed, even atheists would take notice.

Why do you say that? Just because you don't believe doesn't mean you lack morals or are a bad person. I think all religions are a man made construct and don't subscribe to any of them. I'm ok knowing that when I die I am nothing more than worm dirt. Religions were constructed in order to control the masses, and that is exactly what they do. Even Mother Teresa questioned her faith. I think that it is only natural for one to do so.
