This place is really in the middle of nowhere, even today. Even into the 60's the closest town, Belle, still had hitching posts along the main drag.

When my grandfather was still alive he told us that back when he was a kid that undesirables or people that messed up would just "disappear". If somebody was wronged or somebody pissed somebody off, you would simply never see them again.

So, getting away with murder wasn't exactly hard back then. Somebody was a problem, they would get whacked and buried in a field or the woods.

What was your grandfathers last name? The Mrs’s family is from that area too.

That one isn't the vid I was describing...there's a complete edited version I was asking about.
It has more than just farting at the end, and I didn't make it or I would have the link.

Gens/Burt/Miller/Williams Family

My Grandfather's last name was Burt, but he changed it from Gens when he went into the Army. We never fully understood why, but his fathers last name was Gens and his mother last name was Burt. Kind of a long story, but his mother abandoned him when he was an infant. If you are really curious, PM me and I'll tell you the details.

One theory was Gens evidently is a German last name, and my Grandfather may have been concerned about it when he enlisted in the Army. My Great, Great Grandfather's name was Helmut (Helmuth), so very German, possibly Polish?.

Yeah, I know one. His name is George Junior Porter, from WA state. He murdered my niece, beat her to death in her bed using a steel stove poker. He was convicted and sentenced to death. He sat on death row for 15 years, then the Supreme Court ruled that George's I.Q. was too low for him to be executed, and subsequently set him free, He is out there walking around as we speak. Yes, I know George.

Yes. A friend of mine that I knew since HS days. We were all gear heads, he had a pretty fast mustang. He was a welder. Started working 6 months at a time in Alaska. Got in with some Russians transporting some stuff back from oil rigs he would fly out to weld on. Bought an auto shop, a hotel, and a restaurant. The auto shop started shipping cars down south that were “holding”. His partner eventually got flipped by the feds. Not sure whether the Russian mob killed him or if Tom did. But Tom went to prison for it.

He was a 2000’s version of the Glen Fry song Smugglers Blues. Nicest guy you’d ever want to meet. Didn’t drink or do drugs, it was just business to him. Had a ton of cool/fast cars. Had an outlaw 10.5 mustang Big Rig. Flew guys up to Alaska to race then shipped all of their cars to Hawaii for a race. I don’t know the whole story, but I’ve seen his brother and dad a few times. They say the Russians set him up. He got into transporting because it was easy money, it got to be too much to resist. He’s got another 20 years or so. By all personal accounts he was a good guy, the lure of money will do some bad things

That’s him with the yellow mustang
