That pretty summed up my experience. I played guitar since I was 13 yrs old. When I saw SRV I was 22ys old and he was amazing. No words can describe it. I said to myself at that time that I'd never be that good so why bother. I put the axe down for years after that and to this day don't play, except for a 3 year stint 15 years back. |
