Shooting in Philadelphia was by a "prohibited person"

The "alleged" shooter who kept the police at bay for about 8 hours while wounding six of them was convicted of numerous PREVIOUS firearm crimes and was not allowed to own any weapons. He was a "prohibited person" and any weapons he had were gotten illegally.

Failure to prosecute on firearm charges is the norm in Philadelphia. Now it really came back to bite them in the balls this time. Luckily none of the police were killed.

Instead of calling for more laws, how about just using the laws already on the books? You have plenty of laws to put these type of criminals away but fail to do so

So if any of the "anti gun" types bring up Philadelphia, tell them to go pound sand as a prohibited person was permitted to acquire numerous long guns and hand guns.
