Default Getting senile sucks...
Monday night I misplaced my reading glasses. I have 2 pairs of glasses, one a prescription kind for distance and reading things about 16" away, and the other get magnifying glasses to help me see the computer screen. (Sounds like I'm blind, but I'm not.) I found them the next day on the patio. Apparently they fell out of my shirt pocket.

Last night I lost them again. Gawd only knows when or where they'l turn up. Losing my glasses is my version of putting the milk in the cabinet and the cereal in the fridge.

I hope I always remember to use toilet paper and that I never need false teeth.

All my glasses have one of those strings on them so they hang around your neck when you aren't wearing them. Never lose them that way.

Do what I do...keep several pair of glasses scattered throughout the house. I have at least a half dozen non-prescription glasses, maybe more since I may have lost/misplaced some...

I started using the string when I skied as a kid and now it's just a habit for all glasses. Never lost a pair yet. But on the odd occasion where there's no string I have been know to throw them on the floor thinking the string is still there! I've done that in public and people look at my like I'm nutz!
