He did, but.... Joes working real hard to fix that. Coronavirus is the excuse for both. Trumps was really heavy due to no one producing or working, technically.
Wars were/are pretty big. Inflation/recession and depression numbers play into it also.
I am sure you will have more to add. But, here is a good list to start with

An insurance policy should adjust based on actual need, no? I mean, he’s not at risk of going into poverty if he has income.

Well, we agree on the last part. At least in its current format.

Whataboutism. Bottom line, more cash printing than any single term president in history happened under Trump which lead to many of the economic issues many believe we are facing today.

Biden has not fixed it, and he is negligent of that, but he didn’t creat most of it either.

Just like the Patriot Act is patriotic and the Inflation Reduction Act, reduces inflation.

Technically, central planners create and enforce programs like S.S. but in this instance I benefit at your generations expense. You guys should vote harder.

You don’t impact my financial situation in any remotely measurable way.

But if it helps you to sleep at night knowing you are pillaging this country at the expense of future generations, you do you. We don’t expect any less.

Presidents don't print dollars and neither does the Congress. They can sell debt via bonds, bills and notes but they don't print dollars. We have a Central Bank that can monetize debt (create dollars) and banks within the federal reserve system, create dollars via loans. But Presidents don't.

I'd have to go back and look, but having taken SS for 9 years now I think I've consumed everything I've put into it.

So now the people working and paying into it are paying me. That's a Ponzi scheme.

Gov takes in tax money and pays out whatever it lacks by "printing" the deficit or issuing bonds.

In theory SS will never go down the tubes cuz they can "print" money til the ink well goes dry. But if people around the world start losing confidence in the dollar they will have to print more and more, with each new dollar devaluing all the existing dollars. And Treasury bond interest will go up to attract more sales, further increasing gov't debt.

The most recent disastrous example of hyperinflation that you never heard of:

Hyperinflation in Zimbabwe during the 2000s.

Hopefully we will never get there, but my crystal ball is in the shop for an overhaul, so I don't really know.
The entire monetary system (the dollar), is a ponzi scheme.

I'm not impacting your financial system, nor piliaging the country, the government is. I'm simply benefiting at your expense. Insurance and such.

Sorry in advance to all the boomer haters but I assure you I would have made far more with that money over the past 40 or 50 years had they allowed me to keep it and invest it myself. I retired at 63 and started drawing SS right away and since I don't need it to survive thanks to MY planning I'm investing it now to make up for some lost earnings after it was kept from me.

If there's some Gen X, Y, Z or Millennials that don't like that get over it.

I’ve been saving, investing and living frugally enough to use it as play around money, when the time comes.

I’m still 4 years away and a lot can happen over that time. But if it’s still functioning I’m going to use it to buy myself a Vette, or TRX or such.

Feels awesome knowing badger is going to be helping to pay for it. He’s such an angry fellow, reminds me of that Greta girl. Always mad at older generations for her misperceptions and personal shortcomings.
