Top 25 Questions asked about Social Security
“1. I am about to turn 62 and plan to file for Social Security. How do I get started?
You should apply three months before you want to start collecting. Sign up online or call 1-800-772-1213. Here are some documents you may have to produce: your Social Security card or a record of the number; your birth certificate; proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful alien status; military discharge papers if you served before 1968; and last year’s W-2 tax form or tax return if you’re self-employed.” http://www.theretirementhandbook.com...ocial-security I’m getting close to drawing it. I hope everyone younger than me, is paying their fair share. |

I started taking SS at 64 1/2. It's fun play money!
BTW...am I the only one who thinks the Z51 badge (or whatever the heck it is) on the C8 looks like shit? It looks like it came from a JC Whitney catalog. |

1. Late 80's I started planning my retirement based on the theory of SS running out of money/ means testing on day two after I start taking it.
2. The Grubberment has proved to be even more fiscally irresponsible with each passing decade. 3. Therefore I will start accepting payments as soon as possible, getting as much of my taxes back as possible before the shit hits the fan. 4. Any FedCo payments will go directly to unnecessary or luxury expenses, for example a Porsche 718. |

Social Security, and it disability payments are BS too. The fact your spouse ( ex also) can draw yours, or a percent of your SS at a certain age, even if you arent dead.
They are just printing BS money and using this as a segway to give out as charity to those that dont deserve. If you get injured, should be workmans comp. Not SSDI. Get insurance for your injuries. |

Dollar is the World’s reserve currency and it’s borrowed into existence which “theoretically”, creates an infinite shortage of dollars, (principle/interest payments). It’s more complicated than that, with the Eurodollar and such but that’s the basic premise. In order for such a system to operate, it needs infinite growth or occasional Busts, to cleanse the system of bad loans / malinvestments. For whatever reason, political or otherwise, the folks in charge stopped allowing the system to experience a bust / recession? And now the World has a massive amount of malinvestments and impossible financial promises (unfunded liabilities), to service and/or settle, at some point. Some excellent resources for understanding wtf: https://workableeconomics.com/how-th...-system-works/ https://www.financialsense.com/contr...iat-currencies https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...57521915001477 |
