Default Back To The 80's I Go..........
Sitting around BS-ing about jacket attire styles the other day, Members Only jackets were brought up and all 13 of us there said they had one. I had a black one and a light blue one too. Back in the '80s, you weren't a cool dood unless you had one............

Sooooo.......WTF, I can use a new jacket, purchased a faux leather MO with the liner for cold weather.

Never owned one, was not acceptable redneck attire during the 80s.

Owned a few Levi and Wrangler denim jackets, and a few pairs of Tony Lama, Stetson felt hats were for ladies.

Can I still wear a 'popped collar' now that I wear jorts and black socks with white New Balance tennis shoes, or am I mixing decades.

Had (and still have) a black Schott motorcycle jacket dating to the early '80's. Can still barely wear it. Never followed trends either. Jack Purcell sneakers in HS and denim Levi's jackets. Blue jeans or cords. Not bell-bottom or flare, if it could be helped. There was a time in the mid '70's when straight-legged trousers were almost impossible to find. I dressed for comfort and functionality. Still have the Durango boots I got in 1976 for MC riding, and they still look good and fit well.
