Default 15 model years old

...and I still fricking love this car. Have brand new factory seat skins for it, and gonna order new foam for the driver's side, but the car is a 2009 3LZ Z06 with the leather dash, 39k miles, and still a 9.5/10 in condition. Just put a brand new splitter/valence package on a few weekends ago. Paint is absolutely flawless...very glass-like

The '08 Z06 on the other hand is still awaiting its 3rd engine. That car only has 17k miles on it.

Why would you need new foam for the driver's side with only 39K?

Small cut in the seat (like any other Corvette seat), and the metal frame underneath digs into my leg. Also, I'm no midget. I got the car with 26k miles, and it saw a decent amount of duty. Once I got the '21, it got official retirement.

And that is why it's ****ed up. Probably needs brakes, too.

Cars need to be driven or they'll self destruct.

I'd rather have a regularly driven '08 with 75k on the clock than a seldom-drive same model with less than 20k. The 75k car will be the better car.

'08 will be getting a fresh 700HP engine in 2023. At 2,995 #'s, it will continue to be a monster. Can't wait to drive it and keep it fresh. '09 gets driven at least 2 weekends a month, so it stays lubricated. '08 needs some wire harness fixes. Some of that shit burned up.

I can see why! Great looking Z.

I am a fan of the C6s. I had an '09 and a '10 Grand Sport. They were great cars!

It definitely needs brakes. That bitch has been a track bitch since the day I bought it in 2007. In 2023-24, this car will get a new engine, new big brake package, front and rear aero from Lou Gilotti. It's gonna be a beast, and still only have 17k on the chassis. Laughably, you can't say that for the engine. Can't wait to drive this car again.

Not a fan of chrome. Always hated these wheels. Plan on having a powder coated set of black satin rims installed in '23.

By '09, the valve train was supposed to have been addressed. I sent the heads from my '08 out to a race shop, and had everything upgraded, but alas, that bitch blew up twice. Once on bone stock engine, and once on the monster engine. Both died at 7K rpm...with 3.73 gears. Pretty sure the mechanical over revving due to the gear ratio change was the culprit.
