Ive tried it a few times, i think its total BS. I probably wasted $200 over a pretty short time. its all crap

Wow. I never thought I'd actually "know" someone who fell for that crap.

well, what screwed me was a friend who actually got "LUCKY" and got an iPod at the time for $35 brand new. And it actually showed up and was legit and was his first bid and he won.

this was a few years ago when it first started and i threw 10, 20,50 dollar bids on a few items and it tottalled around 200 bucks.

none of them won and i just said screw it.

at the time it was worth dropping a few bids to win any of these items i wanted and if any of them panned out for that low of a bid it would of been worth it.

but its stupid.

I went and looked and they have various packages, so let's say you buy 50 bids for $40. That's 80 cents a piece. So the iPod that went for $35.00, you have 3500 bids made. If the people averaged paying 80 cents a bid, the beezid just made $2800 for selling an iPod.

That's the way penny auctions work. It's not a scam. They ship everything they sell. Of course, they just sold that iPod for actually hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars because of how penny auctions work, so why would they jeopardize that by not shipping the items, etc.

and my Dad got an Xbox 360 Elite with 10 games for free after doing an email/spam/survey.

doesn't mean I'm gonna risk it.
