My garden is puttin out

Gardenias starting to bloom……..


Just got my first zucchini, yellow squash & bell pepper yesterday.
Have already picked over 3 lbs of sugar snap sweet peas and a few salad jellie belly tomatoes too!


Cucumbers and blue lake beans are next



All the flowers/crapes/butterfly bushes in the front of the graden are doing good too!

Well.............here is my 1st freak fruit of the year, my snowman!


And a bumper crop of celeryworms enjoying one of my dillplant's flowers;

Picked these yummies around 7pm last night:





Cooked the beets for 45 minutes, the greens for ~12, tasted just like spinach and dam good if I do say so myself!



Tonight I will make harvard beets

If my roma/ better boy tomatoes would just turn red!!!!!!
It is looking like a good tomatoe year, should be 50lbs+

My newest freak fruit:


A nice cup of low bush wild bluberries also know as huckleberries from my back yard. It was too hot for the birds/snakes to get them so I did for a change! Nice and sweet, not tart at all


Sunflower finally openned up so I can get the birds in the graden to help with eatin da bugs


And a nice red moon.............just after 9pm no less

Picked another 5+ pounds of peppers, a pound of eggplants, a couple of green tomates and okra..........the end is near as we have had 34 degrees twice this past week and suppose to freeze tonight!
