The owner should have racked up more miles and enjoyed it while alive.

Some NCRS guy should snatch it up. It really needs preserved. I loved it when they went to the hatchback in '78. Tough to figure a price on these. There is another with 50k miles for the asking price of $13k. Not really my dream car. $30k is probably too much unless it was your dream car in the day or you want to travel the NCRS shows....which I doubt they are having these days.

I would still love a '78 at the right price with a better motor or upgrade.

Agreed.

I will never understand why anyone would buy a nice car and not drive it.

When I bought my first Vette, a 1990 Roadster, a co-worker said "My uncle has the same car as you. He's never driven it on the highway or in rain."

I said "He should have just bought a picture of one if all he wants to do is look at it."

I have a Mercedes that I only drove 1860 miles a year the last 11 years.
