I’d never let politics dictate where I live or what I watch. Life is too short to let others have that much control. I’ve been to both places and traffic is the only reason I’d avoid either one

I don’t let it dictate what I watch (which is almost no TV anyway) but it definitely is part of the decision where to live. Politics has a huge impact on cost of living and other factors that are important.

And yeah, traffic in and around Denver is insane now - as is homelessness and the problems that come with it.

Traffic I was referencing was LA and FLA

Only time in Denver was a stop over in the airport. Don’t even remember where I was going

I adapted easily to driving habits in big cities and often comment to the wife when we’re out somewhere in the car that so and so would be lost in LA.

We have a tidge short of a mil people, no freeways to speak of (no need really) and the ability to get from one end of the city to the other in 30 mins or less.

Kinda spoiled with 10-15 min drives to work and would hate spending the time required behind the wheel in some big cities.

For that I get 4 months of snow and a week or two of “holy shit is it cold”

I’m okay with the trade. Glad you found paradise
