Prayers sent, I lost my mom to Glioblastoma 10 years ago tomorrow. She was only 49 and they gave her months to live, she made it 2 years. Horrible horrible disease.

Very sorry to hear this. Cancer is a freakin' horrendous disease and one that certainly ought to be given more lab time instead of cures for lazy fatasses that only want to take a pill and become lazy skinny asses.

but according to his buddy here, he got online and has become friends with a gal that has 3 kids and her hubby died...... so they starting to think about combining households, but would need a BARN to fix up, and I can't help them on that one..... but you know the guy is very upbeat, never hear a negative word outta him.....so life goes on....

Update...My wife has been going to southern California for a few weeks at a time to care for her sister for the last few months. The other siblings have been doing the same. My wife just called me from there to let me know the end is near. She doesn't expect her to make it through the week. She is bed ridden, not eating or drinking and on heavy pain meds. Hospice care has been there for about a month. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers, the end will at least be peaceful for her.

I re-read this whole thread before I wrote this post. Check out post #29. Erie.
