They do fetch a premium but... that's a lot of premium. To be fair, a H-D dealer does have a much better platform to sell the thing for a gazillion dollars than I do. The right "Harley guy" walks through the door and there ya go.

I think I sold the last (immaculate) Springer I had in here for about $9k and it sat for quite a while to get that price for it. Can't remember the exact mileage but I think it was in the 12k range, not a lot. Hell, as I think about it, I can't even remember the year, 06 maybe? (Yes, I do realize that a 99 EVO to an 06 with the TC 88 is not exactly apples to apples).

Harley used to sell all black bikes, forget what they called them. The cost more than the standard bike of the same style. One idiot client of mine purchased the all black one....so he could add chrome parts over time. Idiots are born daily.

I have no doubt they’ll see this thing pretty close to asking.

My Twinkie is a 96 CI. This Evo was an. That’s a BIG step back in power.
