If you can’t steer with your knee while eating with two hands you should take a bus

I'll give you an example of a solution in search of a problem. That stupid bump they began putting on the grip safeties of 1911s. Sometimes I think the only purpose for them is to irritate me.

Life hack: just poke holes in the sauce cup and you'll have a McDs air freshener

Salt grinders are a solution nobody needed. It's salt. You're not unleashing any oils. It's a crystal that gains absolutely nothing by being freshly broken.

Supposed to be a speed bump, so if your grip is not perfect you can still pull the trigger. I personally never had a problem with the previous design.

If your grip on a 1911 isn't great, you can forget about that next round loading properly. I've shot a lot of 1911s and still own a tricked out Springfield Armory unit and I've never known one that tolerated limp wristing.

Back in the days when if you owned a commercial 1911 it was either a Colt, a Colt or a Colt pistol competitors found that speed draws and fast shooting could lock the gun up if gripped poorly or if it shifted between shots. The answer initially was to pin the grip safety engaged.... but then the gun was no longer drop safe.
Eventually a custom smith (there is debate as to who was actually first) added the bump to ensure even a less than perfect grip would allow the gun to fire, and still be drop safe.
