I did find Elf to be amusing. I think he pulled that off because the character pretty well matched his mental level.

Not even, IE I love Kevin Smith Movies but him being in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back just RUINED the movie for me.

The only reason I found him tolerable in the Austin Powers flicks was because he kept getting severely injured and that made me smile
