What I've seen so far:

1). All airshows/flyovers cancelled
2). Entire UH-1 fleet ground
3). C-130s grounded in the near future
4). 90% of all TDYs/excercises cancelled
5). One of my squadrons is now idle looking for work
6). Heat turned off in housing...suppose to be in the 30s tonight
7). Tuition assistance turned off
8). Naval aircraft carrier unable to refuel
9). Base event that has been a part of base history since the base existed...cancelled
10). DoD employees = 20% pay cut
11). Housing doing emergency repairs only...hope your toilet keeps working


Sure glad the president and congress still have their paychecks and vacations.

My budget got cut 38%. Not good. Might be losing some heads.

I wonder if the Coast Guard will stop patrolling Lake Texoma. Not to many Al Quaeda folks sneaking across the lake between Texas and Oklahoma, yet, there's the Coast Guard.

I'm sorry for everyone personally effected, and yes, there are plenty of deadbeats that should be cut off first, but when you borrow $ .40 of every dollar you spend, damn, at some point you need to quit doing that.

This sequester doesn't do anything CLOSE to ending deficit spending, so we need MORE cuts, not less.

Instead of sanctions, they should have all agreed to resign if a compromise wasn't reached. THEN, they would find one fast.

That despite our own ongoing economic woes, the US has just given Egypt $190 million, the first installment of a total aid package of $450 million, is incomprehensible.

This after sending the rag heads 20 F-16's as part of a $1 billion foreign aid package.

Forgot to mention the pay cut we took this year due to the increased taxes, while the Congress and WH still recived a pay increase even after not passing a budget for years.
