Default MAP sensor wiring.....

Map sensor obviously measures the vacuum reading in the intake plenum, and so the signal varies from 5 volts to ground......at idle it measures around 2.5 volts.....

but with ignition on and engine not running/still is the reading supposed to be at near 5 volts/same as one side of the 3 wire connecting harness, or be near zero as near ground, the other end of the sensor...

So if we up the voltage on the self induced shock therapy treatment machine from to 11 amps from 10 ohms, via the flux capacitor...

We'll have plenum enough tasty waves to power the voltage regulator of VW Microbus' Craig Power Play under dash Cassette Deck to the Kraco speakers

five volts is input on one wire. the other side or reference varies. with the engine off it simply measures atmospheric pressure. the controller uses that value as a starting point reference when the engine is cranked over, as it changes slightly with barometric pressure. once running your output will be dynamic based upon engine speed-airflow. the best manner to answer your question, however, is to have the chart which gives you expected output values for given conditions. that value varies

Depends on the application

Had a couple of mopar turbo 4 cyl cars, years ago, mutsobitchy made as usual ......ran fine, but nothing to write home about...Just too much $$$$$ and time to bother, and there is no room under the hood for turbos on this vette, not without just too much work, I leave it to my son if he wants, some day.....
