You know how people get nowadays. They can be a bunch of birdbrains when they get their feathers ruffled.

That's cool and they are cool to watch,Douglas. Dawn put a feeder out by our deck. There are a couple of hummingbirds that eat rather well off of it. Was saved one from our garage last year too. |

Well folks, gotta fly. Spent too much time in the sun while mowing, and now my goose is cooked.
Guess I will preen a bit and go to the hair stylist. I'm just going to have her feather the edges a little. |

Taking a break from spray painting. $7 ceiling fan: red. Some rusty parts of the shop exterior: sand. Broke my plug cutter (5/16"), need to replace so I can work on something for Wendy. Rats. |

Looks more like a bald eagle now. She didn't do a very good job clipping my hair, but I can't really squawk because she never charges me.
When this chick was growing up she was a bit of a bad egg, a real turkey. She spent some time in prison and life didn't look too good for her when she finally got out. She was nervous all the time and always looked like she was walking on eggshells. I heard about her from a mutual friend 'Rooster'. Rooster said she would probably straighten up and fly right if she could find a guardian angel to give her a boost up. I gave her a small nest egg to get her business off the ground and it worked! She rules the roost now and her business is perched to be the best in town. Not bad for a lass that started out as a jailbird. |
