I have never felt the C6Z shifter. I have the Hurst. I use the heaviest spring they have. I like the tight feel. Not many people like how stiff it is but I am abit of a meat head so it suits me. Keep us updated on how you like it as you get more use to it.

This is on my list of things to do. How did you go about solving the issue of the c5 boot not fitting the shifter?

Not all mens shifters are created equal. So we need to compare and take notes as to who's is best.
Ok That sounded really creepy.

See thats no fun. You need to teach your girl what to do with your shifter.

Looks great I had a hurst for 3 years in my old Z06 before moving to the C6Z unit. It's a good drag racing shifter because the 2-3 shift is automatic, but it gets really old for daily driving and the stiff centering force isn't what you want on a road course. When you're trying to make that 4-5 shift at 140+ the last thing you want is the shifter trying to pull itself back center and make you hit 3rd... that's bad.... very bad!
