Interesting day...

It rained (sprinkled) a couple times last night (.0-inches) and it cooled off into the high 70s. That was great because the air conditioner went on the fritz last night.

While it was still relatively cool the Danes and I took it apart, diagnosed the problem and made a quick trip to the air conditioner store for a new capacitor. I bought American Made this time because the last two (made in China) only lasted about a year each.

Weather says the cooling rain won't keep it from getting over 100* today.

Things to be thankful for today:

It cooled off just in time to work on outside equipment.

It only took about five minutes to fix the problem.

The parts store had an American made cap in stock.

I had the knowledge and tools to fix the air conditioner without calling in an expensive heat and air serviceman.

That dwjz06 made a post about HS reunion that reminded me of the daughters I hit on at my last HS reunion.

She mentioned that to me yesterday. You have to do a chore for her when you friend her. I am sure there is something to do around the homestead.

She is doing well. She went to diabetes camp last week during the 100 degree stuff. I was a wreck not being able to contact her.
