Buyer hires title company, I can't fire them. AFAIK, my lawyer didn't lie about anything. My realtor and I asked yesterday if we could close on Friday, she said "no, the closing is still set for Tuesday". She did not elaborate on why the closing would not be moved up.

I realized that the title company works for the buyer after I posted. DOH!!!

You made it sound as if your lawyer has not been forthcoming with you. If that's the case I would lose trust and not deal with that lawyer again. Or maybe you were just adding an element of drama? You're picking up some of your arch enemies traits. That was very Dougish.
