Default Teen girls

If life wasn't tough enough, I was blessed with a daughter, when she turned 14 she became a pita. She wanted me to have a GF so of course I get one of the sweetest girls in TX. All was good for the first month, then my daughter started bucking up at everything. Now she says that I've been neglecting her, but she is leaving to go visit with her friends. My GF says I need to break out the pimp hand and set her back straight but I've always been my little girls only parent. I think the stress of moving is getting to all of us. Just had to vent a bit, just had to vent.

Being a single dad to a daughter is tough!! btdt, have the scars to prove it.

I caught my daughter in only one lie, so either I was lucky or she was good. I think I know the answer.

She told me she was @ Starbucks one night. I went there, she wasn't there. I called her and told her that she had better be at home when I got home. She was pulling in our driveway when I was.
She had to ride the school bus to school for a couple weeks after that. She went from driving her own Corvette to school to riding the school bus. She told me that was sooo humiliating. I think it taught her a lesson though, because whenever I checked on her after that she was always where she told me she was going to be.

Good luck brother!!

My daughter is 15, and she lived with her mom until 2 years ago, now lives with my wife and I. She can be the sweetest thing on earth, or your worst nightmare!! I always tell her, I'm not always here to be your best friend, but teach right from wrong, and that you hopefully use good judgement when you need to.
I feel your pain brotha!!!

Mine just turned 13. So far, so good though as I've not had any issues with her being defiant and she's never lied (near as I know). I'm sure that will change by 15...but she probably doesn't know that during my formative years I did every trick in the book to my parents. It would be tough to get something past her Mom or I.

My roommates daughter went from a great child to fecking satan seemingly overnight when she turned 12, which was around a year ago. I'm glad I'm sans children.

It's not really over until they're around 50....or so. Then they start plotting to get your money and you into a nursing home.
