Default So... who here allows their pets to sleep on your bed?

Lisa and I allow our rotties to sleep on our bed with us and the cat shows up after the dogs settle in.

Some people think we are crazy but I know others allow it to.

I have an open door policy with my stupid cats that I love dearly...they keep far away from me when it's bed time

except, in the morning, when they want to eat, they sit on my head...just to make sure I'm awake and haven't forgotten them

I don't have pets, but I'm anti-pets in the bedroom. I had a gf that allowed her dogs to play on the bed. No matter how clean she thought they were, they got the bed dirty and it smelled like dog.

I'm probably the odd man out here, but sharing the bed with pets is a deal breaker for me.

Big dogs sleep on dog beds on the floor in our bedroom and are not allowed on the bed at all. The little fluffy dog has a dog bed on the floor, but she usually ends up on the bed at our feet.

The cats sleep on the bed or window sills on either side.

The dog, well, he's too big and sleeps on the floor or on his futon/bed/couch that we have for him in the living room. Tis hard to share a bed with a dog his size.

Our dog (12 lb poodle shitzu mix) sleeps in bed with us every night. She doesn't shed and is a house dog so she's pretty clean. She's under the covers right now keeping herself and us warm.

We make sure that both pups fall asleep in their own bed (most nights). Rocco though, knows he can jump up in our bed in the middle of the night, and Dixie sometimes lets him get away with it.

I love my dog very much, and I take her with me just about wherever I go... but she's not allowed in the bedroom and she knows it. She'll sometimes walk down the hallway and peek her head around the corner at me, usually if I haven't gotten up and fed her as early as I normally do.

Little guy in my bed. Big guy in his crate. Morning time they both jump in and relax with dad or mom. This morning my wife got up, the boys jumped in and snuggled with me.

Usually one of the dogs spends the night in bed the others on their dog beds in the room. If it is thundering and lightning, well there is not much room left in the bed.

Cat, yes. Dog, no. Dog has a huge pillow at the foot of the bed he sleeps on every night.
