Default Apple Laptop
I'm looking at either a MacBook, an Air, or Pro. School me Mofos. Gonna be used for Internet, email and the like. No heavy photo editing. I do that on my desktop.

I have a MP Pro 13". It is great. HAs lasted longer than all of my Dell's, toshibas, etc. This one is over a year old and still is 99% perfect. The software updates are flawless compared to using a pc.

One of my favorite features is the back lit keyboard followed closely by the battery life and the display. The newer one's are pretty powerful. I went with the pro because I prefer the silver to the white plastic look of the standard Mac book.

If you are going to buy one see if you can get one through your a school. I signed up and I can get one through the college I graduated from for a couple of hundred discount.

I did read that you can use a wireless keyboard and a mouse with the Ipad. A mouse is something that I like when surfing the interweb.

I find myself in agreement with OM I've had my MBP 13" for about 18 months now and the thing still works like it did out of the box. The only thing I did was trade out the stock 250gb HD for a 750gb No matter how many programs you install, it doesn't seem to slow it down like a PC would. Macs are just pure computing sex

WHere did you get the bigger HD? That is the ONLY thing I dislike about mine. I need more space.

Newegg I also got an external enclosure which makes it super easy to clone your current HD onto the new one. Then swap them out and keep the old HD for backups or extra storage
