So...bought another C4

Ten days ago I sold my triple black '94 vert with 68k miles. It had a cracked windshield, heater core leak, ac leak and scrape on the front bumper. Still got a fair price and made a little profit after driving it for eight months.

Today I bought...a triple black '94 vert!

This one has 73k miles. New stuff includes top, Nitto tires, battery, alternator, water pump and Optispark. Power antenna doesn't work (other one didn't either) and it still has the OEM radio and wheels.

Shopping now for wheels and a couple of interior trim pieces that are cracked.

Got this one for less than I sold mine for. Last one was in Cartersville (a little over a hundred miles southeast from me) and this one was in Murfreesboro (a little over a hundred miles northwest).

Oddly enough not only did this fellow have my identical car (just different wheels) he had the same model and color F150. Only difference in the trucks was the wheels.

back in the day I had a 90 vert Seafoam green or some chit, and a 95 vert in that metallic blue color. great, fun cars.

Agreed. Not a C5 fan, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't buy one. Considered one the last two purchases. Don't care for the rear view so much.
My first Vette was a C3. 1980 I think. Love the looks. Had Camaros that handled as well or better and the fuel mileage was abysmal.
This is my seventh C4. Love the body style. They can be bought reasonable, handle great, and are reasonably fast.
I really like the C6. Always have. Beautiful lines. I'll get one eventually.

After looking for C4's and Boxters for my kid forever, she ended up thumbing her nose at them and asked for an SUV. Last week we came across a C4, and of course she said she would have been good with one.

I paid $9500 for the last one, a '94 vert with 66k and new Torque Thrusts and tires, Kenwood head unit with back up camera. Bought a set of C5 wheels and tires fir $500, sold the TQ wheels for $1200. Sold the car for 10k. Drove it seven months and still made a little pocket money.
This one was $9600 with 73k and new top, tires, water output, Opti, battery and alternator. Radio is OEM and works when it wants to.
What's the miles on yours? Condition? Too far for me to travel to but just curious.

Hey there Bad, The ‘87 has 42k actual miles on it, all three owners live on the same block coincidentally! The car for several years which lead to new carpeting. We did the clutch, tires and wheels, fuel system and detailed it. The interior needs to be finished up but all there.

I really need the garage space, I built a 32x52 block garage and it over flowing…. I’m hoping to get 8500 for it but …..
