Cool Some highlights of the Phillies Opening Day
First and best, Phillies beat the Braves in the bottom of the 10th 3-2

So this was first experience with electronic tickets. They SUCK. Couldn't get a signal strong enough or long enough for the tickets to show up on my smart phone. Luckily the ticket folks were able to print actual paper tickets so we got in with about 5 minutes to spare for Mary to be with all the other folks being honored.

I went up to our seats and got some pics.

Here's part of the opening ceremony and Mary is wearing the long brown coat directly behind the Phanatic.

If you watch the video after the moment of silence, it's Harry Calas' son Kane singing . GREAT voice.


Seats were "up there" but great view. Only problem were the winds as it was COLD.

Mary danced with the Phanatic, I'll have to see about getting my video loaded or finding one online.

Nice pics! Looks like an awesome time!

When I was about 10 or 11 years old, my Dad took us to opening day at the Vet. I'm not sure I've ever been that cold again! The wind off the river there is brutal in early April.
