You seem to think there is something offensive about calling illegal immigrants, illegal immigrants. They are here illegally. That's their own doing. Why do you think it's ok for people to come here illegally?

No matter where someone is from, if they are illegal, they need deported. They are illegal immigrants, which is offensive to Hispanics. I guess they are taking the hit for everyone that is illegal.

This thread has gotten way off topic. Interesting discussion but the point of the thread was to see who others thought would be a good choice and to be widely accepted from outside the political world. There have been a couple suggestions but those got mostly ignored in the discussion.

For all the blather we heard from people like Ted Cruz about what a fake Trump is and what a turncoat he'll be, we saw something amazing last week.

He made a trip to Mexico, a HUGE PR victory, then came back in the evening to deliver his immigration platform speech for the fall campaign to a crowd in Arizona. The media was singing his praises and gleefully talking about the incoming pivot. Not because they want him to win (they don't, they're in the tank for Hillary), but because they wanted capitulation and a sign that their agenda will win no matter what.

But forget the left and their propagandists. All the insufferable RATS in the GOP who have been sabotaging Trump and helping Hillary were also salivating over it. Trump could have won their praise and gotten into the good graces of the establishment.

So what did Trump do? He defiantly reiterated his stance on our border and immigration policies and put the people who nominated him and the best interests of the AMERICAN people first.

He's an incredibly flawed human being. So what? Unlike every GOP nominee I've been eligible to vote for he's also not a political coward and is going to win or go down swinging for what is right over the next 2 months.
