Mid 40's. I stole both in the 70's (each). One up the street, a view lot but well and septic (which means he might have to purchase a second lot) went for 179.
House 1/4 mile away went for 1.1M. Larger, 20 years older, but most of that is in the basement. And the roof is metal, not standing seam. No central heat, so it's basically a summer place. Gotta remember that this is a resort area, so prices rise nutty, then drop badly during recessions. In 2005 condos up the street were selling for 279. Then 379. Then 479. Then the 2008 crash, and they were back to 279. |

Gotta finish the addition first. The plan for one lot is a German Chalet with a large overhanging front gable. I'd rent it out to Floridiots and use the basement for a three or four bay garage, with at least one four post lift.

Also, you will have to park at the convenience store a few miles away, as he refuses to remove the driveway rocks, which are nicely spaced at 1/8".

It has been for us for 25 years, but the blue state refugees from tax, crime, congestion have brought all that crap with them now. I used to get to the town of Clermont 12 miles away in about 15 minutes, it now takes 45 minutes on a good day and that's before the new communities en route of high density conods/apartments are completed and open up. And a huge COSTCO. The little citrus farming town has turned into a snarl of traffic and retail/residentical sprawl. So its like John Milton's poem titled "Paradise Lost".
