Nope. The new engine (engine #4 for those keeping score) came in last Wednesday. It should be installed this week.

1st engine - Salvage yard special, full of water in the pan.
2nd engine - Salvage yard special, intended for a pick up truck NOT an RV
3rd engine - Reviva rebuild made it from Abilene to Waco and blew.
4th engine - Reviva warranty replacement. Fingers crossed it will be the end of this nightmare.

Damn Jeff I knew they had some engine issues but had no idea they are on attempt #4 at a new motor. That is frustrating as hell.

I really feel for them. It's heartbreaking. They have been down since the first week in October.

Yeah and it really chaps my azz that folks who have probably worked their whole lives seem to deserve better in their retirement days.

Scott you don't know the half of it. Not that anyone deserves what they are going through but if there are two people that absolutely DON'T it is them. Both worked very hard before retirement and kept putting off this adventure and finally because of age and health concerns they decided they just need to pull the trigger, ready or not, before the moment slips away. My folks have (had) a work ethic that just doesn't exist anymore and the reward for that has been less than proportionate. I am happy to have them stay with us, but I wish it were more voluntary than it is.

It's not over yet. There will be some follow up action taken but I already told them to expect nothing and be happy if they get something.
