In order to assess this car in its natural habitat, we need a picture of the car with the hood up and a stuffed animal on the intake, a beach chair, and a custom framed article from Road & Track magazine leaned against one tire.

Sounds just like those car shows in SoCal, or anywhere for that fact.

Might have to think about one of these, but DAMN, 3,600 pounds? What a effing pig.

Don't forget the brush painted engine cover logos, and the flashing LED tube lights and the carbon fiber covers for EVERYTHING!

A Callaway SC757 with 3LZ package is 140 pounds less, has more horsepower, significantly more torque and is over $30,000 less. What does your "Cost-Benefit Analysis" say?

In all reality, I need to get my own beast repaired and enjoy 700 less pounds. My next sports car will likely be the new Supra.

If I had a C7 ZR1 to take to the car shows, I'd be using the wing as a picnic table.

For your tall ass, that'd be more like the bench part of a picnic table.

The car seems to handle good at speed. Would like to have one but you couldn't use it's full potential on public roads.

Still,
Nope. Video released recently says 212. It went faster on one of the runs, but the average of both was 212.

3600 lbs, as I remember my '72 at being only 2900 lbs.....roller 4 bolt 355, 200 turbo, plastic spring in back, rack steering, aluminum rad, dual spal fans, one piece aluminum grill, HEAVY as helll Hood.....serp drive late/light comp....

so just where did all that weight come from??? I assume it has aluminum suspension arms/etc....aluminum block.....maybe I saved 5 lbs/wheel for the aluminum rims.....

so just where is that extra 1000 lbs?? AS I look around stock weight on a '72 vert is about 3300 lbs.....
