Wifes dad is passing
Any time now. Body is shutting down. They all got together down in Florida last month for his 91st birthday. It was a good time.
He was an excellent provider for his family. Put all the kids through college and all became very successful as he was. He did good. Mom is 89 and physically so-so. Wife is a mess, Most of you may thing well-yeh but she has a personality that is hard to deal with even without this. |

I have about 4 homes across the street, where the men are severely sick and advanced enough age.....2 wives are also far along.....

I lost my Dad as a kid, and my Mom two years ago, and she passed at 86, but her last 6 months were pure misery for her, so passing at least brought her some peace. 91 years is a pretty dang good run, and we should all be so lucky. Either way, losing someone you love hurts like the devil. My condolences to your family.

Wife's mom and aunt are sisters, and both of them are outta their minds, and wife is sharing every other weekend for her to be FREE, and wife's sister takes the two day load.....
lets just say, that like an ages old buddy and I agreed not long ago...when the time comes, it's our choice, and that's what the guns are for..... damn if I staying around 1/2 outta my mind, dunno when to crap, when to get up, when to walk witch way around the house....mumbling to myself on a damn sofa, need shouted at to communicate.....countless daycare payments, and at age 88 there is certainly NO improvement, but the recognition of reality needs be done as an entire society.....age 74 here, and got my own problems and know what to do.....

I can appreciate what your SO is going through.
My SOs parents, both in their early 90s, cannot do anything for themselfs. SO is the caretaker, as they refuse to leave their home. God speed guys. |
