Estero Bay Chevrolet received a truckload of 8 C8's that were a production week of 7/5...thus it's about a 10 day turnaround to get delivered barring no issues. If that holds true, I'll finally have mine Thursday August 12th. Only 2 days off from being the perfect birthday present.

Mine's been MSRP from the beginning, and I will get my $1,000 price increase back 30 days after I take possession, but if this dealer got their hands on a used car, you can damn sure bet that it'd be priced at market price...which is way above MSRP.

I should be able to recover nearly 100% of my purchase price in 3 years...assuming I can roll into a Z06...assuming it's even available then. Hmmm I’m thinking that’s a big bet. I’m betting in 3 years someone will be happy to take the low mileage C8 off your hands for $20k-$30k below MSRP. Just the trends. Congrats on getting yours at MSRP though.

My 2005 1st year C6 was 20K less than I paid when I sold it for the '08Z, but I even paid $2k below sticker in October of 2004 for a first year C6 from Kerbeck. The backlog that exists now, that goes so far into the future says otherwise. I may not get 100% back, but I will not lose $20k. Supply and demand is way to fricking strong right now.

After 3 more years of the Biden regime, there might not even BE a new Corvette made. Crashing the economy_skyrocketing inflation will hurt sales, and the way things are going, it wouldn't surprise me if the automakers are nationalized and will only be selling electric powered Trabants and Ladas.
