Just Popping In To Say I'm Out Of ICU, And Getting Stronger...
... hoping I'll be back home by the end of the week.
Here are the Cliffs so far... Being horrifically obese, and largely sedentary, I allowed a large infected mass to grow on my upper leg. A couple weeks ago, I decided to see a doctor about it, and it was decided that there would be surgery. That was the 14th. That night, my leg exploded and I woke up in ICU the next morning. I was in ICU until yesterday, on a ventilator, and now I'm in a regular room, breathing on my own, working towards getting strong enough to go home. Fun Facts: Despite being cartoonishly obese, I'm NOT diabetic, My BP is "amazing", and my cholesterol is "unbelievable". The nurses and doctors keep saying things like "shouldn't be this good" or "and you aren't in any kind of treatment for this? Really?" Hope y'alls are well, and I'll be lurking a bit, but probably not posting much until I'm home and firing on all 8 cylinders...```` |

Are you sure this is a medical problem? kinda sounds like voodoo to me..
Let me know if you need any help I know some that can cast back spells to make it go back on them if needed..  Hope you feel better soon..

Take it from a recovering addict: water and walking are the basic building blocks of being healthy. You'd be amazed at how far those two will get you without any other exercise or eating habit changes. Those of us who have or have had girth problems need to be honest with ourselves: we're junkies, no different than alcoholics or nicotine fiends. We're addicted to eating and sitting. |
