I had one of those years ago, it lived for about 2 years. I was very diligent with the water changes etc. I was actually sad when it died.

My wife has one of these also. We did put the bowls together. She's had hers for about 6 months. It's really kinda ugly. Poor color, fins are kinda chopped up, etc. When I asked her why she bought the ugliest one, her comment was "Because nobody else would. He'd never get picked"
