When you **** over the domestic drilling industry and pipelines, the equipment, the employees, the knowledge base, the talent.....it leaves, and it's not that easy to recreate that in an instant, to "get the band back together." We see this occur naturally during bust cycles in the oil patch. The only difference is, what Brandon did wasn't naturally occurring, it was intentional sabotage.

It's also a much harder sell to the oil and gas industry to ask them to invest big dollars on drilling ventures in the US when they've seen just how capricious the government can be if the wrong people gain power. Who would want to make big investments knowing that a future administration could easily screw them over. Look what TransCanada lost when Brandon killed the KeystoneXL.

I'm assuming they're suing Uncle Sam (us) to get reimbursed for their losses, but that takes time and money. Let's say Trump gets back in and asks TransCanada to go ahead and finish building the KeystoneXL. How excited do you think TransCanada will be to invest more when we screwed them the last time?

The Brandon regime has done long term damage to the country, some damage that may well be non-repairable.
