Puddle of Mudd's (Wes Scantlin) acoustic performance of About A Girl (Nirvana) has got to be up there. HORRID.

Never saw it but just read about it in a comment under this video.
Bad performance of Lithium but I remember digging it at the time as I was into the whole pop punk alt rock thing in the early 00's.

Boston - It was horrible. We actually walked out. It's hard to recreate all those guitars live especially back in the '70's. Also around the same time Ac/DC. It wasn't that they were bad it was the fact that they were way too loud and we couldn't even make out what song they were playing. We walked out on that one too.

I saw both Boston (3rd Stage tour) AND Pink Floyd at Reunion Arena, enjoyed both. It's not the worst venue for accoustics. I'd say the Astrodome is the worst for accoustics. And by the time I saw Boston, years after the first two albums, it was probably a lot easier to recreate that famous Boston sound live, given the advent of the 'rockman.'

And I saw Yanni at McFarland Auditorium at SMU...great accoustics, great venue.

I saw AC/DC at the Greensboro Coliseum in '99 and they were great. When we first got there, lined up for a beer, and the couple in front of us were dressed as a pirate and his wench. The guy had a fake parrot on his shoulder and a hand-carved wooden leg grafted on just above a knee. A hilarious, unforgettable night, and I'm not even a fan.

When I saw AC/DC, I truly understood the old truism, "If it's too loud, you're too old." It was too loud. I wished I had brought earplugs. We were upper prom for that, and it still made my ears hurt. No doubt I got some permanent hearing loss from that one.

I saw AC/DC at the Oakland Auditorium in Sept. 1979 and same deal. It was a great show, with Bon Scott prancing around and Angus Young doing Curly from the Three Stooges on the stage with his guitar, but the volume was on 11.
Distorted.
And the audience was violent. Lots of booze and pot. And testosterone. Memorable as hell, though. 45 years ago.

There's a video of John Lennon jamming with Chuck Berry and Yoko Ono lets out screams at random to 'enhance' the song. Chuck Berry's expression is priceless. John Lennon is smug in the knowledge of his wife's huge talent. The world knows otherwise.

She was a no-talent, predatory POS 60 years ago and remains one today, IMO.

Just 2 weeks ago.

Emilie Claire Barlow. We drove up to Toronto(Markham) to see her.

This is her:

She has a great voice and she sounded good in person but it was a sleeper. I have never seen such a low energy performance. She looks like she just put her kids to bed and drove to the concert.

I could have listened to her in my living room and enjoyed it just as much.

Another terrible live performance.
When the kiddies were young, all under 12, I told them NO to backdoor boyz.
Well, on day of show, a dood, dumb****, in my office got a ticket broker to sell him tickets at 50% off.
I went for it, took wifey and three daughters, seat were almost on the roof, my acrophobia kicked in, but worse was my eardrums burst, louder than a fart in a port-a-potty.
Two hours of screaming, strobe lights and undiscernable lyrics, what a shitfest.

Damn good thing they served 24 oz beers!!

Then I guess you've never seen an Adele concert.

She's the polar opposite of Taylor Swift: she just stands still and sings into the microphone.

Van Halen 1982, David Lee Roth was either having a bad night or started losing his voice even back then.
