Trump has a lot of issues. He was too trusting, he underestimated the depth of the swamp, he's grossly overweight, he wears his ties too long, and he has an unhealthy penchant for junk food.

With that said, he made us energy independent, gas was cheap, unemployment was at record lows, black unemployment was lower than at any other time in US history, the economy was roaring, companies were reinvigorated, the ragheads in the Middle East were talking about peace, and he forced the other NATO countries to finally pay what they had promised.

He's a braggart, he's rude, he speaks his mind, and I'll gladly take him over anything the deep state offers up.

Yep, he did all those things which were great. Problem is most were done using executive orders so Biden was able to reverse them very easily. Do you really think he is going to magically be able to get lasting legislation passed if he wins? If he's the nominee, it is likely that the democrats will control either the house or senate and possibly both.

I understand why...two main reasons...he refused to try to work with Republicans and many Republicans refused to work with him. Both are to blame.

That's why I asked above if anyone really thinks it'll be any different if Trump is elected again. It won't...in fact, it'll be worse because Trump would be a lame duck on day one.

Like the Republicans or don't, your choice. I don't like most of them but the President has to work with Congress to get lasting legislation passed.

I've said before I would likely vote for Trump again if he is the Republican nominee. I won't like it but even an egomaniac lying carnival barker is better than any Democrat.

Odd that Trump was a favorite of all Americans, one of the most popular celebrities on the planet, EVERYONE used his phrases, his TV show was #1 for 14 seasons, his family was adored, his kids were in demand, all companies wanted to partner with him, his construction firm thrived, he sold menswear, his name was GOLD.

And then he ran for POTUS, with his #1 commitment to drain the swamp,,, well, the swamp did not want to be drained, too much dirty money on the line.

It is the gop's DUTY to ensure the validity of elections, not Trump's!!.
They did a terrible job in 2020, and will probably muck it up in 2024.
