That is what you bought the grapple for pile it up for a bonfire party.

With the box blade drop the teeth low and crank up it on the back and rake your yard at the same time.

Looking thru one of my FIL farming magazines and they were doing a product test on a post hole digger.

Guy in the photos had an old T shirt on and the photographer had a motor driven camera. The shielded PTO shaft grabbed his T shirt and almost instantly wrapped it around tearing a perfect square off the front ( waist to neck and shoulder width) . It was wrapped around and did quite a few revolutions before he had any reaction to what was happening. Only then did he move back but if it was a newer/stronger T shirt, it would have been over

THINK on EVERYTHING before doing.

I had an uncle that wasn't so lucky. The tractor crushed him. Closed casket funeral.

Had an aunt get her foot caught in an auger. Lost most of it, got gangrene and lost what was left.

Grandfather was working on a running combine. It engaged and he got his hand caught up in the belts. Lost his thumb and ring finger.

Growing up, neighbor kid down the road was riding on the disc, jumping off to grab rocks in the field. Fell off and was killed when the disc went over him.

I've had a few close calls. Learned pretty quick not to **** around with heavy machinery.

The work on a farm is not for the weak. Reason why many moved to the city generations ago.

I had a boss when I was kid who had a few horses. He was fecking around with his tractor, got his shirt caught in the PTO and drug his arm into it. Ripped his arm right off. Arrrrr..

I’ll take that as a compliment. It applies to construction also. I’m 63 and can outwork most kids half my age.

Indeed. I made a point of grabbing from the side for that reason, and don't want to poke one in the grill.

It's mounted on the top of the ROPS. I have seen some aftermarket types that mount below the ROPS. This one is OEM.

Correct. I was concerned I would hit my head when entering the seat.

Okay. So I have a question regarding that. Whenever I see trucks with booms parked for any length of time, they all seem to park them with their boom buckets way high in the air.

Why do they do this?

I am referring to the type of buckets that linemen might use to trim trees or service power lines.

I think it’s so no one will get into the bucket. Similar to a crane lifting a job box or welder/compressor etc. in the air. Keeps the lowlife assholes from stealing or vandalizing.

Yep its to keep idiots out of them. Their hydraulic controls are a better quality I'm sure than tractor units.
Also they leave tools in buckets sometimes.
