Can't really dodge them

Man. Flashbacks.

Coming over Wolf Creek pass in '77 headed for Durango. Storming like crazy. Probably riding in the clean new Monarch with the white landau. Saw a room-sized boulder come off the hill and absolutely clean out a car. Luckily trees caught the car about 50 feet down, or they would have been goners.

So you can watch the road ahead for rocks laying in the road.

Waste of tax dollars, as said, you cannot avoid the falling ones.
Alert drivers need no help seeing in-the-road objects.

They also have those signs instructing the motorist to do posi burnouts. Which is strange because not all cars have a limited slip differential. I'm lucky and all of mine do, except my latest GTO. But still, people seem to get pissed when I slow down at each of these signs and do a burnout. Name: POSI.jpg

EXACTLY Having lived in Oak Creek Canyon 4 miles north of Sedona for 14 years I encountered these several times with rocks sometimes as large as a VW bug.

Will there be a roadrunner and coyote involved?

The drive from Sedona north on 89A is fantastic. As was the drive on 89A from Prescott north thru Jerome.
