Absolutely. California has been robbing its taxpayers for decades and then touting 'rebates' and 'refunds' that are small percentages of what was robbed in the first place....and the 'rebates' and 'refunds' never happen. What's really cool is the 90 billion dollar excess CA had this year got squandered on dreams, and since nobody is buying anything or driving anywhere due to our 40%+ inflation, CA is looking at a 50 billion deficit in 6 months. I'm totally happy about it. Our gas is still over $5 per gallon for diluted alcohol regular.

Good shooting! I once shot a 198 at a sanctioned ISSF event. 25 meter one hand rapid fire. Not only set the record for the evening, but set the record for the season. I still own that pistol (Benelli). |

For Bullseye I prefer my ugly but trusty model 41. Benelli makes pretty fine weapons as well. |

Snide digging remarks about Texas, how superior Ca is. The bigger issue I've witnessed time and again is a Dunning-Kruger effect on perceived competence. Specifically in men who recreationally shoot a few times a year or have grown up hunting. Neither indicates any level of competence beyond the absolute basics of knowing where to not point it and generally not putting rounds down range unintentionally. They also tend to be the ones who're quick to give everyone a lesson on how to shoot, frequently ending in injuries. Firearms are potent tools that can create real damage. But so can vehicles. Yet we spend so very little time developing either skill beyond the basics. My hypothesis has all along been that it would be an easily reversible course (neither function requires extraordinary intelligence or time to achieve a decent level of competence) but that there's more money made by prolonging the problem, of which people like you are. A problem. How many people do you know can shoot under duress/stress, and not at some paper target in a controlled environment? I know I cant, or can I? I know a few on this board definitely can and have been trained and executed their training in actual firefights. If we could just get past the idea that a gun is the problem, and realize its society making shitbags that kill, we will be a whole lot safer. More people would own and train, like we used to. |

He's an excellent candidate for trans, IMO. At least to be consistent with the ones I've seen in CA, where both of us live.
Here, for a man to transition into a woman, his preferred height is 6'2"+, he should have wrists like 2x4's, a strong chin, and a heavy brow. A prominent Adams-apple is a plus as well. Our STS has pretty much ALL of these qualifications. |
