deja vu II, heading to Wichita tomorrow.....

Going to get the youngest son's stuff tomorrow. Milwaukee area to Wichita,
should take me 12 hours to get there. Who knows how many hours to load up (may need to call the PoPo). Turn around, and come back.

Kid (29 y/o) was here for Thanksgiving, but Delta upped his return day by 24hours. He went back on Thanksgiving day, and got kicked out of hid apt. this morning.
Came home today with only his driver's license. Need to get all of his stuff. The amount of time I spent searching airline schedules was exhausting, but I was able to track and find him upon arrival at Milwaukee.
Long story, wont go into it now, but it is my son.

BTDT Finally one of our kids grew out of bad decisions. Shes now is married to a pastor, follows the word of God and has two of my grandsons. Her and her husband own and run two halfway houses now. There were a few years that were not good for her or us (cleaning up the issues) for that matter

Got back at 4am today.
Left Saturday morning at 3:30am.
Loaded the Edge ST up with clothes and computer stuff (3 monitors),
left a lot of stuff down there (Tables, racks, chair, etc). Never going back.

1540 miles, 3 stops for (2) sit-down meals, and (1) 1 hour
power nap stop in Iowa. I did all the driving both ways.
Had BBQ in Kansas City at a place called Zarda's BBQ.
Son had a burnt ends sandwhich, slathered in sauce. Said it was good.
I had sausage and chicken. Mac & Cheese was good, cole slaw sucked.
Don't think I'll make a 2nd trip there.

The deer carnage along the way was crazy.
This am, I passed 2 cars that smacked deer just before I got to
there location, both completely smashed up front-ends. One deer
had been cut in half, only saw the front end, rear must have been
embedded in the front end of car.

Anyway, crazy blood splattered roadway all the way home.
Had me very nervous the whole way home.
