50 knot wind gusts easy here now Mike... About blew puppy away. He was like shit I'm going back inside.
Came out of nowhere, was fairly calm then trees were a bending pretty good in an instant.
We've had an inch plus rain now.

Well shit... Power went out already.
Pool took a limb to the side and is leaking also. I was moving it/replacing it in the spring anyway. Bounced off barn roof and speared it. Lucky shot. I tried to slap some leak tape on it but no go. Guess I should have kept some flex tape spray around
Bet the winds are 60 plus easy gusts already. Ripped wind chimes down couple hrs ago even.
Moved everything from big freezer into frig/freezer already.

Cleared room for cars in barn and stuck mine on lift. Ya know I watched the news and said nothing of 70 mph winds especially this early today.

As thankful as I am that my Mom is safe, I’m heartbroken for those I know that lost everything and those that lost their lives. One families answered prayers was another’s worst nightmare.

My hubs and I, both being a part of Oklahomas medical reserve first responder team; mostly post tornadoes, I can imagine the horrors the rescue teams are getting ready to endure. I’ve seen things I wish I had never seen as those images will never be erased.

I feel the most sadness for those that couldn’t leave or the children that had no choice as their parents made the choice to stay. For those that chose to stay, I still feel for them as they probably thought this was going to be another “non event”.

Prayers for everyone still in this storms path.

Funny thing is that they "upgraded" the lines this year and think power has 2 different ways in now also.
