Very nice!
I'm guessing it's hard to find one that is low miles, not been butchered or beaten. Perfect addition to your stable. Scott

Their exhaust note just doesn't sound right to me. Chevy got that part right. |

It never made sense that firing order would affect exhaust tone. I would think tone would have to do with valving, cam timing, compression etc. Scott

Lsa effects lope...but firing order controls the sound. Listen to a ford v10 and a dodge v10....worlds apart.

Similar results with varying degrees if you add cnc'd heads, cam duration (even with same LSA), change in compression etc. I can't sanely disagree with the engineer that wrote the article I read, it just never made sense in my mind. The last Ford I built was a 5.0 from an '87. Went down to Downs Ford in Toms River, NJ when they had a Motorsport branch there. Forget the parts we got from them but it was a steeper cam ( middle of the road/2x range) heads decked a few thousandths etc and it sounded a LOT different than in stock trim. Scott

The lower the LSA...the mower lope you will have. 114* vs 108*....considerable... |
